Sweden MEETX is the official provider of hotel rooms for the MAF 2022 conference and a number of hotel rooms in different price categories have been pre-booked in Gothenburg for the event.
All prices quoted are in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and excluding 12 % VAT. Payment can be made by credit card or by invoice for Swedish organizations with Swedish VAT number.
The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid when the booking is submitted.
All rooms include breakfast and free WiFi.
If you have any questions, get personal service or if you wish to make a group booking of more than 10 rooms, please contact us via email or telephone. All changes and cancellations shall be sent by email.
If you are attending the conference you can book your hotel if needed at the same time as registering for the conference.

Beware of Unauthorized Hotel Solicitations!
MAF 2022 official housing vendor is Sweden Meetx. Attendees and exhibitors should be cautious of other companies that:
- Call you directly and claim they are official housing partners and have the best rates for Gothenburg. MAF and/or Meetx will never call you directly.
- Claim to be affiliated with MAF by offering discounted hotel rates, which often can be too good to be true.
- Ask you to provide your contact information and credit card details, and require full pre-payment in advance.
- Claim to have availability at their advertised hotels, but may take the money for the rooms, then later cancel without refund to you.
When booking your hotel for the meeting, please be sure that you are booking through a credible source and/or email maf2022@meetx.se if you are approached by a company making the above claims.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
The total amount and full prepayment of the hotel reservation, as calculated on the booking, must be transferred or paid by credit card, when the booking is submitted. All payments should be made in Swedish Crowns (SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the visitor. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted. Payment is done by credit card, we accept Visa, MasterCard. Please note that all credit card payments are made through secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement. For Swedish organizations with valid vat, number invoice is possible as a choice when making the booking.
VAT
Swedish tax legislation requires visitors to pay the hotel fee including Swedish VAT (12%) which may be reimbursed according to specific regulations in your country. If you are from a country in the EU area, please search for a refund of VAT at your tax office, in your home country. Cancellation of hotel
- When the reservation is confirmed until 8 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if a reservation is cancelled.
- From 8 to 4 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- From 4 to 2 weeks before arrival – 75% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
- We regret that no cancellation within 2 weeks before arrival will be refunded.
Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations have to be made directly in written form to Sweden MEETX and not to the hotel. It is possible to transfer your booking to another person.
